FAQS About Vinyl
What type of lettering is this?
These are pre-pasted, pre-spaced, individually cut letters that press on your wall or any flat surface. These are not decals with clear film around the letters. The letters arrive on a sheet of paper which adheres to your wall. After pressing the sheet to your wall, you pull it back and only the lettering remains. They don't fade or crack, and can easily be washed.
What is vinyl lettering?
It is a self-adhesive lettering which is easy and ready to apply. It comes pre-spaced with words or quotes. You will peel off the backing and place the lettering where you would enjoy the quote the most, then proceed to rub over lettering smoothing out any air bubbles.
Where can you put vinyl lettering?
You can apply lettering to about anything that does not have a oily surface. Examples: walls, windows, mirrors, glass, magnet boards, painted wood, plastic, boats, cars, trucks, office windows and almost any other smooth surface.
How does it come off?
You can remove your quote by using a flat edge razor blade, if lettering is on mirrors or glass, you can use a blow dryer on a low setting to warm the letters and they should come off easily. Any residue can be removed with a little scrubbing with windex. Vinyl is not reusable.

Do the letters go inside or outside Glass?
Normally, the letters go on the outside of the glass to maintain visibility even when there is glare on the window. If you prefer the lettering go on the inside to be read outside, please specify that the letters are to be REVERSE CUT.
What about Color Matching?
Our solid vinyl is available in certain colors only therefore we can not guarantee matching pantone process colors or your vehicle. Like TV sets at the appliance store each computer monitor may show our color chart differently. If the exact shade of the color is critical, please email us with your name and address and we will mail you an actual color chart.
Can you cut Graphics and Logos as well as Lettering?
We can cut most anything you can imagine. Although our artistic talent is limited, we can use clip art and artwork from computer files and faxes to create eye catching signs for you. We have most national logos already in our computer. Just ask!
How long will the Vinyl Letters last?
Vinyl lettering has almost completely replaced sign painting because of its durability. Vinyl letters have been tested against fading and peeling for years. We use 2 grades of material. The most common is 3-5 year vinyl which will perform well under most circumstances. If your work demands greater durability, choose the more expensive 8 year vinyl (recommended for glass storefronts, boats and vehicle lettering). No special care is required once installed.
